Job Summary:
The Hostel Warden is responsible for the overall supervision, safety, discipline, and welfare of hostel residents. The role ensures a secure, hygienic, and disciplined living environment while maintaining hostel rules and supporting students’ personal and academic well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily hostel operations and ensure smooth functioning
- Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations
- Monitor student attendance, entry, and exit registers
- Address students’ grievances and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with management, parents, and academic staff when required
- Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel facilities
- Supervise housekeeping, security, and support staff
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (any discipline)
- Prior experience as Hostel Warden / Residential Supervisor is an advantage
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle students with patience and discipline
- Basic knowledge of safety, first aid, and hostel management
